Welcome to the German Elmo Rietschle Facilities
Elmo Rietschle brand
When Gardner Denver acquired both Elmo and Rietschle, a new brand carrying the combined names was created to link a strong tradition to an exciting future. Two companies were founded which are in charge of designing, manufacturing and selling vacuum pumps and compressors to a worldwide market: Gardner Denver Schopfheim GmbH and Gardner Denver Deutschland GmbH.
Schopfheim
Schopfheim, originally a Rietschle site, features seven plants in three parts of the city. Gardner Denver recently invested heavily in new machinery and infrastructure to meet the growing demands for Elmo Rietschle products. Within GD, the Black Forest based headquarters of the Blower Division is the largest single facility with some 1,000 employees. Radial fans, rotary vane, rotary lobe and claw vaccum pumps and compressors as well as screw vacuum pumps are the machine types built in Schopfheim.
Bad Neustadt
Bad Neustadt's plant features state-of-the-art serial production facilities for side channel blowers and monoblock liquid ring pumps. The site was designed and built after Elmo's spin-off from Siemens and merger with Nash. Situated in the geographical middle of Germany, it is also the home of the national Elmo Rietschle sales team.
R&D, Purchasing, Product Management, Operations and Logistics are to be found at both locations, whereas Marketing and International Sales are headquartered in Schopfheim.
